Hey all. I am looking into getting a fisheye lens attachment. I understand the photo quality on the attachment is not the same as a proper fisheye lens, but my budget does not allow for one at the moment. Plus I have never taken photos with a fisheye before, and would like to play around before investing in a lens. Can anyone recommend a fisheye attachment that will give me that geniune round distorted look? I currently am shooting with a Canon Rebel Xsi DSLR. Also, I am confused about the magnifaction on these attachements. They range from .08x to .45x. Can anyone explain this to me? Thank you so much in advance for your help

I haven't used any of those but from what I've read, those screw-on fisheye filters are junk - not worth spending any money on.

The Samyang and its clones can be had for relatively cheap (<$300)... or you can rent one if you just want to play with one for a little while; or maybe even see if there's a local photography club and perhaps someone there may let you try theirs.
