Did they refurbish the CBR?

I have been reading threw the old post. I spotted one in regards to the CBR and being closed for a while. Was it for refurbishment or just because of everything slowing down?
Just wondering we are staying in May 2003.

It is for a refurbishment. All the rooms were refurbished last year, and now they are refurbishing OPR and the pool area. It is due to re-open late November/early December.

I think it might mean Port Orleans Resort POR, thats just a guess

Old Port Royale - the building that houses the food court, gift shop, etc.....

OPR is Old Port Royale, where the food court, Straw Market and general store are located. Just outside of that is a sitting area and the main pool. I don't know if they are refurbing the pool, but I understand that the food court is being completely redone. Should be done in a couple of months. Then I guess I better go back and check it out! :)
