R we Crazy??? talking about going to Disney around Christmas... Need cheap htl help

Hi, Dh and I were talking yesterday about driving down around Xmas time. We just got back from a trip to Mexico in July and dont have alot of money. I figured the drive would save on air and we still have tons of passes with usused days. We have a 3yr old DD. Our last trip there was May 2001 and we stayed at the HIFS. I love it there but the room rate is 99.28 anight. We have never been to Disney over Christmas so we thought it would be a nice time. :cool: Any ideas where to look for hotels? TIA

If you go to www.dreamsunlimited.com they have the courtyard at dtd for 39 plus tax for a room from sun-thu. I have read a lot of posts about the courtyard and it seems that it is pretty nice. Don't fall for the $19 trap in kissimmee..believe been there and done that!!!..the rooms smell,the service....what service??no one to complaint to if you have a problem,the traffic at 192 is really bad. I also saw a hampton Inn at sand lake road for about $40 breakfast included..never stayed there but, I have also read many positive reviews....Good luck!!!:D
