One word of warning....and for those that have these and they LOVE them - my apologies.....

DON'T BUY COMPAQ COMPUTERS UNLESS YOU HAVE A GOOD WARRANTY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We had a whole department upgrade last July and almost a year to the day that we installed them, the hard drives started failing. I have been getting warning signs like the other computers got just before they crashed....so I think I'm next!!!!! Just did a massive backup....

I will be the 7th computer out of 25 now to have hard drive failure!!!!! Thank goodness these have a 3 year warranty on them or they'd all be going back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree I do not like Compaqs (but then again i am a Mac girl at heart). I had two and both failed in some way within 30 days. I love my HP though (but still miss my Mac).
