Great job!

So did you get out of your driveway?

And have they cancelled already in Blue Springs? I had a hunch we'd be out again, but was a tiny bit surprised to get the call at 1:30. We're up to 8 snow days now....... My senior is loving it since he doesn't have to make up any of them!

I was out today and knew we wouldn't have school tomorrow. The street crews have done a great job with the amount of snow we had, but there are several side streets that are not bus ready at all. I bet the will forgive a lot of the snow days and not require them to be made up, (that's what they did last year so they could get summer school in). My senior is happy too!!

We worked on the driveway about 2 hours, with a small snow blower and shovel. It's the only time I wish I didn't have a 3 car garage/driveway!!:rotfl:

More snow on it's way Sunday, just in time for our Superbowl party!!

Loved it! We have the low temps (19 last night after a high of 74 on Monday!) but not the snow! 70% chance for Thursday ... DGD's are keeping their fingers crossed! DH is NOT ... as County Commissioner, he and his crew may have a really long day/night tomorrow! Will have a big, hot pot of stew ready for whatever ... :tink:

We didn't get a single day forgiven last year. I better not share your story with the kids..........they'll want us to move to your district! :lmao:

I'm in denial about the Sunday snow. I just refuse to accept it. :rotfl:

How do you do it? We ended up with 13 inches the other day with 30 mph winds. I can't even imagine dealing with it like you have to. Praying for no more snow.

Sorry Mike....... my husband just told me we're due for 4 more tomorrow.......... I'm not sure where we'd even pile more snow!

Oh come on it's not that bad.... lol.

We got another 6 inches last night with more on the way for tomorrow and I live Southern Ontario. You should see what they get up north. :lmao:

But I'm pretty sure I read somewhere in the Missouri weather contract....article III, paragraph 6, line 7........... that since we have to deal with sweltering 100 degree plus humidity in the summer.......... that we are not obligated to have 4" of snow less than a week after we get a foot of the stuff..... I know it's there somewhere.

Soooo.... I'm respectfully declining the additional snow........ along with any snow days out of school this week!

I'm loving the snow, it's killing me on working since I work for the school district but it's still great to see it!!! I'm lived in up state New York as a kid so I'm with Dave on the fact this is nothing compared to what they get up north. It's funny they cancel school, we had to find a way to get to school as it was rarely cancelled.

I need to watch the weather, I didn't know more was on the way!!!!:lovestruc
