Very Late Arrival on a Friday......

Arriving after 1 AM on a Friday night and don't want to check in until Saturday. Has anyone ever stayed at the Hyatt at the airport? did it work out okay for you? Trying to decide whether or not to go on and spend the points for Friday night. My mom is 82, and I hate to get the rental car, drive to BCV, check in and have to go to bed around 2. We will be so tired the next day!

We did this in August, just me arriving late with my 11 yo dd. We did carryon, so we wouldn't have to wait for luggage (Orlando is VERY slow). It was very easy, the elevator for the Hyatt is right outside the security gate, took all of maybe 15 minutes to get to our room. Check the Hyatt website for on-line specials, we paid $95. Diana

I have the same situation in November. I've booked the All-Star Sports for Friday night for several reasons. For one thing, they'll move my luggage for me on Saturday to BCV, while I just get up and go to the parks. Also, as a solo traveler I feel safer on site. And lastly-it's cheaper -only $55 including tax!
