Wear (or have worn lately) socks or underwear with HOLES IN THEM?

And if so, WHY?

If it has holes, its time to throw it out!

I bring this up because I wore a pair of socks with a hole, and the next day, I had underwear that was torn. I know there's really no excuse for this! LOL

I cant be the only one!

One of my best girlfriends wore holey underwear the day she was in a car accident. She relates the story like this: They were wheeling her down the hospital in a stretcher, her head was bleeding, she had a few broken bones, yet the ONLY THING ON HER MIND was her holey underwear. :teeth:

This happened about 20 years ago, and I've never forgotten that story. So no, when the underwear gets holes, its time for the trashcan. :)

My socks do get holey because I insist on wearing them outside on the cement. :rolleyes:

My socks get holes in the bottom of them, like right in the ball of the foot, because a heater vent in the kitchen, right in front of the refrigerator, is bent upwards on one corner. I've tried to fix the vent time and time again, but it still snags my socks, especially the brand new socks!!!!!! I never mend them either. I think that would be annoying on the bottom of my foot. :p :p

Underware, no, I'm like snoopy's friend. :p I don't care if someone sees my holey socks though. :p :p

I must confess that I'm guilty. I have several pairs of socks and underwear with holes in them. I don't know why I don't get rid of them, I guess I'm just fond of them, LOL! :teeth:

I'm a comfort fanatic! And at the price I pay for undies, they can get holes. Socks, I'm more finicky about, but usually the dog chews them before the hole wears in....

When I got my wisdom teeth out when I was 18, I was surprised to wake up and see they took my shoes off. My toes were sticking out of my socks.:p I have never worn another pair of holey socks again!:teeth:

i haven't worn socks for about 2 weeks. God bless whoever invented flip flops. but i have been known to wear holey socks. and none of my undies have holes in them, except this one pair that i ripped a little on the leg, doenst' look gross, so i wear it. :)

No holes here either. My DS's could care less so I have to go thru their's every once and awhile to toss the "worn" ones.

Socks - I have been known to wear holey socks. Chris teases me all the time about it.

Undies - No... I definately toss them when they're that worn down.
