Can you help me make a lens decison for our Disney trip?

I know this question has probably been asked a million times but I'm hoping I might get some advice for my particular situation. I recently upgraded to the D700 (:woohoo:) and we're going to St. Augustine in March. We'll be staying on the beach and will also head down for a day at Magic Kingdom. I'm hoping to get some advice on what lens/lenses I should take to the park. I mostly want to capture my kids but would love to get some environmental shots as well. For lenses I currently have a 35mm f/2, 50mm f/1.4, 85mm f/1.8, 105mm f/2.8 macro and a 28-75mm f/2.8. I also have the Tokina 12-24mm (DX lens :( )which I loved on my D300 and am hoping to get something to replace it before we go. I'm really hoping to pick up the new Tokina 16-28 f/2.8 if I can find it in stock anywhere. My guess is I should take the 28-75 and my 50 but I'm wondering if I'll be wishing I had something wider? Any input would be appreciated. Thanks!!

I'd pack them all and decide each day what I wanted to take to the park, leaving the rest in my room.

For a one day trip to the MK, I would take my most versatile lens. That appears to be the 28-75. On my last 9 day trip, I probably used my 28-70 f2.8 85% of the time. In your one day, additionally if there is something specific you wanted to photograph,ie, dark rides, then I would bring whichever lens would do that job.

I would agree with this, I also used my 28-75 most of the time. However, if you do get a new UWA, bring that as well. You will not be disappointed.

If I had to choose one I'd go with the 28-75. On a past trip I found 28mm to be too narrow but that was on a Canon 1.6 crop sensor, on your full frame Nikon it should be wide enough. However, if you can take an UWA lens I wouldn't hesitate to do so, shooting ultra-wide at Disney is lots of fun!
