Great shots.
When the snow turned to rain late last night here in the Chicagoland area, I was hoping to find a similar situation with my trees this morning. Alas, it was not the case.

Nice pictures!
I love it when Mother Nature does things like this to the world. It sort of helps you to see nature in a new light. I was hoping that it would stay cold here in south Jersey and the sun would come out so I could get some shots like this but it rained all day.
Thanks for sharing such wonderful pictures! :goodvibes

Beautiful pictures! You don't happen to also be a poster on Twopeasinabucket.com? I saw some pictures today that were very similar to yours.
Can I ask what you meter on when focusing with ice? I was trying to get an icicle today and could not get a clear shot no matter what I did!

Thanks everyone. Looks like the freezing weather is not going away. We are having another snow storm on Friday. More photo opportunity. :goodvibes

No, I am not on twopeasinabucket.com.
All the shots were capture with a 35mm lens with manual focus. However, I added a 12mm extension tube for all the close up. Metering was set with 3D color matrix. Exposure was set at shutter priority @ 1/125 sec and aperture was @ 3.2 to 4.5 between shots.
Please let me know if you have more question.
