We don't have ANY WDW trips planned for anytime in the near future. We just know that we will go back whenever we can afford it and it fits into our schedule.
But THAT is not the pathetic part - here is: I have been reading the Unofficial Guide every night before bed. And this morning. I am reading the touring plans. I am reading the descriptions of all of the attractions. I am reading the restaurant reviews.
I am a pathetic creature...

You don't sound pathetic to me... you sound like I did about a year ago :teeth:

I do the same thing. We are contemplating cancelling all our vacations for a year or two. It breaks my heart but it may not make sense for us to spend the money for awhile after the recession we just went through. Meanwhile I read the books, look at the maps and dream. :(

I am not doing that right now, but I go through times when I do. So count me in on pathetic too. It'll be the newest fad. lol

Sign me up as one of the pathetic, no trips planned yet I read the boards every day. I just got done planning, not one, but two of my friends trips, made the PS ressies got up early for CRT and everything. When I got CRT for my one neighbor I was so happy, you would have thought I was going! We too are cutting back on the trip planning for awhile and to make it even worse, DH is going to be at the Dolphin all next week for a conference. We discussed meeting him there, but then I figured he will be working and I'll feel guilty because we are out having fun. Plus I just went back to work after 12 years as a SAHM. So am I more pathetic than you!!!

I am right there with you. I have a stack of tour books for place I would like to visit. Mostly WDW. Okay, ALL WDW / Florida, except for one for Scotland. :)

I started re-reading all my guidebooks right after I booked our trip, and I we're not going till next summer. Not pathetic at all:)

   Tell me you are joking about being pathetic!
I do this all the time. In fact, my mother told y dad today that I'm dreaming... that I have always got a plan of going to WDW in my head... wasn't she a bit rude??? He was having a fit that I was even considering an AP next time.

I keep a WDW guide book in my car at all times. When I pick up DD at school I sit in line reading and studying!
I am going to help a client plan a visit to WDW for her Nov. trip. I think it will be fun!
(I plan one for me all the time-- but then, I'm only dreaming aren't I???) ;)
Have fun. Planning is half the fun!

Go buy a guide book of local attractions in your area, and go see THEM.

Then, move to Orlando so WDW WILL be a local attraction! :smooth:

When I'm not on the Dis, I am on the internet, pricing all types of vacations for next year, looking at them, that is all I do.

LOL, DocRafiki!

Catsrule,
I often think of how much I spent on this machine for looking up Disney stuff and DISing. Crazy! Ithought I'd do more with it. But, no, I'm always hanging around here...

I was just told that there is a slight chance I may lose one of my jobs next year. What do you think was the 1st thing I though about? No not the mortage but how will I get to WDW?
I guess I will try to cram in an extra trip before that, just in case.

Please send some pixie dust my way that I can keep my job and keep going to WDW oh yeah and paying my mortage.

Oh Ricola - your DIS-o-Meter is GREAT!!! I love it!!! Wonder if I could have it sized down to go into my signature???

I am so glad to have such good company in the pathetic camp. It is nice to not feel so alone. :teeth:

Let's be real...Of course you are not pathetic! You are like all of us...planning our next trip to the world. We just don't know how long it will be until we return, right? I am hoping for spring break in April 2003, but if not then - who knows??? Please just know you are among friends here and we are all gathering info from our fellow DISNEY friends for our next adventure! Take Care

Yes but it is fun to plan. I'm sitting here working right now listening to ride soundtracks and Disney area music. I know I'm obsessed
