No not with a trip to WDW, but to me the next best thing. For the last 3 years I have been driving a Dodge Grand Caravan! It was OK at first because of the extra room with our 3 kids, but I quickly became to dislike the van. For the past few months, we have had one repair right after another.
Wednesday morning, I asked DH to go to Walmart with me to just pick up a few things. When we came to the intersection to turn right to go to Walmart, he turned left. I immediately knew where he was going, but really wasn't sure I wanted to go. Yes, a car dealership. To make this long story a short story, I came home Wednesday afternoon driving a 2003 Ford Expedition(Eddie Bauer edition). It is so cool!! I think the kids are more excited than I am. It is slate blue with silver around the bottom, lt brown and cream leather interior, 3 rows of seats(the back seats let down with a push of a button), a 6 disk cd changer, A SUN ROOF!!!!!, a DVD player with fold down 7" screen for the kids, and so many more buttons that I haven't figured out yet. So far, the only bad thing I have to say about it is the gas mileage. I have driven almost 170 miles since I got it Wednesday, and I am only averaging 12 mpg.:( This isn't great when I have to drive 20 miles 1-way to cary the kids to school! But, DH just bought a 1986 Mitsubishi Montero for hunting this year. It is terribly UGLY, but is does get about 25mpg. I keep telling Ashton(Oddball) that I am going to start them to school in it! She said OK, as long as I put her out about 4 blocks from school!!!!;) I don't know why a 13yo girl would be embarrassed by this vehicle, do you?!?!?!?!
Well, I must go for now! I don't mean to sound like I am bragging or anything, I am just so excited that I am not having to worry every time I get into a vehicle if it is going to get me where I need to go or not!!!!! Thanks for letting me be excited!!!!!!
 :sunny: :teeth:  :teeth: :sunny:
By they way, I never made it to Walmart!!!!!!!!

Congrats on the new wheels! Don't ya love the new car smell? :)
DH had an awful '63 VW van in the early '80's. He had to drop our DD off at school in it a couple of times and she told him the same thing. Just let her off and not let her friends see it.

That's wonderful, Jane, good luck and best wishes for many safe, trouble-free miles ahead. Sounds great!!! A few more years and Ashton can borrow it. :earseek: :teeth:

Congrats on the new car! I've had 2 Eddie Baur Explorers, and I love them . I get great gas mileage on my new one- I've never had to put gas in it since I got it last December ( I tell DH he can only drive it if he fill sit with gas) . I'm trying to make it a whole year without going to a gas station;) Enjoy your new car!!!

I'll trade you a WDW trip for your car. I'm pretty tired of not going places for fear that my car won't make it.
