My friends bridal shower is tomorrow. I got her a gift certificate which comes in one of those cardboard envelopes. Now the envelope wont fit in the card and I dont think wrapping it would be approrpiate. Would you just tape the card and envelope together or wrap the GC envelope(or something else?). I should add the envelope says Crate and Barrell on it so theres no surprise what it is.
What do you think?

Can you tape the shower card on top of the GC and then stick a nice bow or some ribbon curls on the top of the card?

You could also put the card and GC in a little gift bag. The Dollar Store always has some nice ones - as does the craft section of Walmart - they are only 68¢ there - while the ones in the card section are usually $3.00 and up!!

I agree with Pam, a small gift bag would be real nice, add some curly ribbon and it is an economical gift wrap that looks great.:D

I agree with Pam. They have a lot of really small gift bags made for gift certificates!

*****Update****

I went to the store to get a bag, ribbon and tissue paper like all you smart people suggested when I found the coolest thing. I dont know if its something new or something I just havent seen before. Its a special gift box, just for gift certificates. Its a little bigger than that cardboard envelope that they usually put gift certificates in at the originating store. It was a pretty white and silverish design (looked almost like wrapping paper), complete with a sheer ribbon bow nicely wrapped around it and a small gift card attached. It couldnt have been easier. I thought this was a really neat idea(Ok, I dont get out much;) ).
So, if you are ever in need of a way to wrap a gift certificate, there you go! :D
