Due Date: April 1st, 2011. This is when I need to receive your package. The mail by date is March 25 to make sure the package arrives to me on time.

If we find that we need more time to complete this swap just let me know and we can adjust the dates.

I will pm you with a reminder if you forget to check in. After 48 hours with no response I will request angels for your spots. If you are going on vacation or will be out of town, please check in early. If you need an angel, please ask for one as soon as possible. We all have families and emergencies sometimes happen. We understand if you cannot complete - just let us know so we can make proper arrangements.

After sign-ups, please pm me your name, DIS name, mailing address, email address and phone number when you sign up (I will only use these in an emergency).

The requirement for Group A through Group R2 will be to make a mini page kit
(2 photo mats and 2 elements) from the list below.

Groups AA through YY are single elements to be chosen from the list below. (This has changed as I didn't want to infringe on the letter swaps happening in February). YOU MAY STILL USE THE 4" LETTER AS YOUR ELEMENT OF CHOICE IF YOU WANT.

Element list:
Title = standard 8x2 topper (other sizes are okay), welded and shadowed letters, letters on squares, circles,mini tags or other shapes, a large title tag, title on a box, borders, photo mat, altered CD. Be creative - we love new things!
1 paper piecing (not a single layer diecut)
2 photomats for a 4x6 photo, 2 layers, smallest layer 4 ¼ x 6 ¼, embellished
2 journal boxes, total of 3 layers, minimum writing space 3x3, embellished
2 tags (or 1 large tag—greater than 2x3), 2 layers, something in the hole and embellished
1 file folder or matchbook (2 if mini) - -embellished
2 slide mounts -- embellished

1 library pocket and tag. Tag must be 2 layers with something in the hole, pocket must be embellished

You can mix and match -- 1 tag and box, 1 border and box, 1 tag and 2 squares or shapes, etc for both of the groups.

******Please let me know if you have an idea not listed! We are open to new things.

Suggestions for embellishments include:
Die cuts, stickers, stickles, flock, ink, chalk, brads, charms, flowers, eyelets, ribbon/fiber, sewing, tearing, embossing, stamping, clipart, additional layers of paper beyond double mats (if it would look weird trying to fit in another embellishment, specialty paper (such as embossed, glitter, Bling).

Packaging: Place your completed elements in a Ziploc bag THAT FITS YOUR ELEMENTS (the bag MUST close) with your DISname, name and group letter. Do not address your items to a particular swapper. (That makes it harder for me to sort!) Your label should look like this

Take all of your baggies for a group and place them in GALLON size (or larger) bag, and label with the same. Please use the gallon bag (or larger) -- your items may fit in a smaller bag, but the items you receive back might not. Please include a return address label -- either a USPS priority mail label that you have addressed, or the little ones you would put on envelope. (This cuts down on errors.)

Mailing: You may send to me, by any method you choose unless you are mailing after March 14th [note this is before the mail by date]. Then, you must mail Priority WITH Delivery Confirmation. I prefer to send to you using flat rate boxes/envelopes. Please include enough postage in your package for return shipping. The NEW rates are: Envelope or Small Box (9”x6”x2”) - $5.20, Medium/Standard box – $10.95, Large - $14.95. I won’t require Delivery Confirmation, UNLESS you are sending to me AFTER March 5. If you want your items shipped to you with DC, please include the $.70, and a filled out slip. I will not mail the items back with delivery confirmation unless you include the $.70. And I am not responsible to for postal errors. Also, please include a label (can be the priority label completed with your info or a small address label) for me to use to return your items to you.

DO NOT include clik-it/ship-it postage. I will not be able to use it since it is only good on the day it was printed, and from the location it was printed.

I know there was talk yesterday about the single elemnts groups and duplication of an element, which is fine for most elements. I'm wondering if we could NOT have duplicate titles? I know that personally for a lot of groups I don't have more than one set of pictures and I would find it very hard to use 2 of the same title.

For those who are signed up in the single element groups, there are several groups with more than one person making titles. Although two people making most of the different elements would work, it's really hard to use more than one title.

Would you please look over the list of elements and consider choosing another element if you have signed up for duplicate titles? I will not make anyone change, since I originally said it was ok. Just let me know what you would like to do, as I will be combining groups and eliminating those without anyone signed up.

Wow - lots of great work over the weekend. I have been down with strep all weekend. My household cannot catch a break this winter. Two, count em, two rounds of stomach flu - and now strep. My poor oldest son turned 16 on Saturday - the greatest birthday of your childhood - and guess what his gift was - you got it. He woke up with strep too! :sick: We have never had a season of illness like we have had this year. I wanna move somewhere warm......like maybe :mickeyjum.

Anyway - just wanted to quickly check in. I will update everything a little later today when I have more time. Gotta go check on my patient now that I'm up and moving again. It's a wonder what a little mold (penecillin) can do for a body!)

I'll jump in to answer even though i'm not the hostess--just in case you are wanting to work on these today since some people have the day off. generally for all swaps here you'd need to put the stickles on top of something else. You could stamp out the title, computer print the title, cut out the letters with cricut carts etc. and then stickle over them. You can't just write the title freehand though with the stickles. Hope that helps.

no, its on the Cricut Paperdoll cart so the eye's are cut out, the brown is from the hair behind the face, the mouth is a small cut, just used pink marker to outline it....their are face stamps available from some place, but can't remember where...I'm sure someone will know!

oh, that makes sense. I have a silhouette and have only made a Harry Potter doll and just drew in his mouth, eyes, and scar. I can "make" eyes etc on my machine. Thanks!

I used scal, I used the shapes from scal and imported and traced the mickey head, and just resized to the sizes I needed for the cuts. I have the file saved on my computer but I don't know how to share online yet.

HELP NEEDED!!!!! I worked on my tea cup inchies this morning. I am not sure I like them. The corners are silver stickles. The centers are cricut cuts, some embellished with shimmer markers. I am always over critical of myself though. Opinions needed. What do you guys think- should I redo my sets? I forgot how tiny inchies were to work with, it has been a while- LOL

I did cut a piece of the blue to put behind the well in case someone would like to use it as a journal box, the well itself is popped from the bottom, it doesn't show so well in the picture, so I will be sending the blue unattached so that you will be able to write and then attach to the back.

It would be great if you could wait to ship until closer to the due date, but I can take them now if you are ready. I have a closet that I will stash everything in until I get from everyone. We trade all the time elements with one another.. so no issue there.. however we can not pay for them...

What we usually do is just baggie it up and put a note on it so the hostess knows who it goes too...

We trade all the time elements with one another.. so no issue there.. however we can not pay for them...

What we usually do is just baggie it up and put a note on it so the hostess knows who it goes too...

How about the library tag from Jungle Cruise Group, I don't know how to make those so I can have a new item to work with. Does that work for you?
