Nice pictures. I'm always jealous of pictures of the tigers in the water. I never catch them like that. Maybe I have to go during a really hot day. But AK is the last park i'd want to be at on a hot day. It always seems hotter there.

Love your Tiger shot and love the shot of Hollywood Tower of Terror. I have a very similar looking shot hanging on the wall of my office. Love it!

I agree, I used to frequent the Philadelphis zoo, and I've only ever seen the tigers in the water once, usually when it's really hot they stay in the shade.

thanks everyone! the reason i got the tiger picture was indeed because it was DEATHLY hot that day in September. Because I am from California I sucked it up and had a great time anyway, but you wouldn't have seen me anywhere near there if I was a Florida native!

I was using my Canon powershot A570. It's my "old reliable" of point and shoots. I have found that the more you delve into the manual settings the more you learn about the specifics of your particular camera and how to better use it. Plus, Canon is amazing in general.
