View Full Version : The reason I'm going to DC-2.......

Because last year I planned and planned Then I planned some more.......Then I chickened out......Then I felt sad because I couldn't go... I would have no place to stay----cancelled. I 'd have had to hitchhike as I'd cancelled my air .....It even cost money to put the miles back in my account. I was really feeling sorry for myself...so I decided the next convention I was going for sure. I'm still a lot nervous but I've met Tammyh and her DH --so I'll have a couple of familiar faces in the crowd.

I never want to say I wish I would have--or to be sad becasue I knew I could have but I chickened out----So I'll be there With a big smile just waiting to meet you all.

If planning is part of the fun then I must be in for the best convention ever.

So glad I could help you jump over the fence, Patty.

Why else would a perfect stranger call you up and say hey let's get together because we have something in common except to make sure you had a familiar face to seek out 3000 miles from your hometown in a sea of faces where you only know their names.

This is just a great big DIS meet in person instead of over the internet.

I'm looking forward to meeting another new DIS friend, Dalepool. Forget about last year. This year is going to be <b>magical</b>! Can't wait to meet you there :)

You must have an awful lot of memos by now. How are you planning to carry them to DISCON and remember all this stuff?

Hi TammyH, Nativetxn, and to ZURG---Does ZURGSWIFE know he's keeping MEMO'S?

My voice sounds like a very sad Janis Joplin----Now that's sad. And to ZURG----I played so bad this evening a two year old could have beat me......Actually I play in the Men's league where one misplaced shot or leave ---leaves you a looser......

Oh Zurg, you're going to be very interesting at Dis-Con II. I'm hanging with you ;) and Zurgswife too, I have a feeling she's alot of fun. Not sure if she's warped though :confused:
