Does anyone know if the rules are the same (similar) to WDW and/or DL? I am going solo with a D5000 and 2-3 lenses, external flash and a tripod...but I doubt I will be mistaken as a professional :lmao:

Obviously some rides/shows have special rules and I always ask just to be sure, but as far as just getting into the park with my equipment, will I have any issues?

Any can't miss photo ops? Obviously the castle is going to be a good opportunity and I am looking forward to the giant Buzz :)

My experience at DLRP is similar to WDW and DLR. I have taken a tripod, DSLR with mutliple lenses in and never been stopped at bag check.

They do seem slightly more strict on no photography at the dark shows particularly in the Studios (Animagique they police pretty strictly with no photography not even with flash off)

If you are staying on site i'd recommend having a good wander around the Village, the lake and outside the Disneyland Hotel and Studios gates after dark. I've gotten some great shots of these after dark.

There's plenty of night shots towards the end of this folder on flickr.

Feel free to take a look around my Disney section to see other photo ops in DisneylandParis, there's plenty of them.

Have fun at DLP! We were there in 2005. I love the DLP castle and their version of Fantasyland:)
