Wilderness Lodge to Ft. Wilderness?

Is there a pathway between the Wilderness Lodge and Ft. Wilderness? If there is, is it just a walking path or can you take bikes, golf carts, etc on it?

The path runs from the bus stop at the WL along a sidewalk, then turns more into a paved trail that runs along a road. It's a pleasant walk, or you can rent surrey bikes at the marina and ride those. the path ends at the Disney stables and petting zoo. Our family found it to be a great down-time activity. If I remember correctly it's about a 15 minute bike ride at a leisurely pace, probably 25 minute walk.

It took my DH and me about 30 minutes, but at dusk the armadillos made me jump until we figured out that's what the noise was. He still teases me about them!

Is there transportation between WL and Ft Wildreness? We're travelling with two small ones and would prefer wheels to feet (especially at the end of the day!).

There is a boat to FW....may not be direct though, can't quite remember....

There is a boat that travels Bay Lake. It stops at WL, FW & the Contemp. I think it runs till 10 PM.

Wilderness Lodge shares bus transportation with Fort Wilderness so if you get on the Any bus but the one goint to TTC you will have no problem getting there
