Play Station2 games

We are off to Orlando in Aug 03 and were wondering if PS2 games purchased in US are compatible to the PS2 console over here. Also how do prices compare?

Someone else will no doubt be able to confirm 100%, but I don't think they are compatable. As I understand it they have different regions like DVD's, but with DVD players you can get multi-region versions that will paly DVDs from different regions.

Unfortunately the Playstations are set for one region only.

you need PAL games and theres are NTSC.

We have a chipped PS2 and really its not and awful lot cheaper anyhow. You'd get a better deal if you buy pre-owned from over here.
