Miracles do happen!

As some of you read, i was a little upset when DCL upgraded us Monday. Mainly with the way it was handled verses the thought we had put into selecting a room with our original booking (see the old thread for details)...Anyway, this morning i received a call from a gentleman at DCL explaining that he had read the notes in my file and he was sorry for the way it was handled and would like to move us back into the mid-ship are and....moved us into a suite! He also gave me his direct line in case we had any problems. We booked a cat 6 got upgraded into a cat 4 and he just upgraded us into a cat 3 back into the mid ship area. I thought to myself...miracles really do happen! i was very impressed with the way DCL handled our situation. We leave tomorrow and we are so excited! I just had to share the good news.

Which Cat 3 room are you getting? Some are larger than others, although any is a fabulous upgrade!

We are getting cat 3 Room 8034. How is that one?...we have no idea...this is our first cruise!

If you're in 8046, 8048, 8546 or 8548.... you might want to pack ear plugs. We were in 8048, on the Wonder, last week and it was very noisey at night. The Cat 3 rooms are fantastic and very comfortable..... except for the noise we encountered.

oh my god.....you're in one of the best suites on the ship!!!....
there are 4 cat 3 staterooms that are larger than the others and 8034 is one of them..
we were in 8534, which is the mirror image on the starboard side (you're going to be on the port side)...
it is a super fantastic room....
have a wonderful time!!!!

Wow you are the luckiest people, I've been trying to get upgrade with no luck and leaving next Thursday. Oh Well maybe we can upgrade at the port, we hope so ..

You are indeed in one of the best suites on the ship. There is only one problem with this room and that is that once you have been in a suite (category 1 - 3) you will never be happy in any other category room and they are expensive. Aside from that, what a great break and how terrific is DCL. What a class operation. Enjoy your cruise and the suite.

That's a GREAT suite!!! We were right next to it in 8032 (mirror image) a couple of weeks ago. You'll love the roominess, and the extra's from the concierge. DId you know you can prebook Palo's before you leave?

Upgraded from a cat 6 in the middle of the ship to a cat 4 at the back. I was just happy to be upgraded. I like the back of the boat more anyway more movement.
