Maybe a waste of time to start a "Photo Sharing: Infrared" thread but here goes- if anyone likes shooting IR with a converted camera or the filter route please share your images and process here- or just join the conversation. Thanks.

This is an excellent idea for a topic, thanks for getting things started.
Is this the sort of effect that you can reproduce using software or can you only achieve this look using special equipment? If it's equipment only then can you tell us more about the specific kind needed to capture images like this?

Thanks for sharing your pictures, they are fascinating.

Jeff - like I said in a Flickr comment, when/if you decide to sell this camera, PLEASE let me know first.

Assuming you don't sell it soon, do you know what the practical differences are of the modified D100 (or D50, D200, etc.) as compared with the popular Hoya filter? I know the filter would require a tripod, but that filter might be my only option for the near future. I realize it produces red shots that require conversion, but isn't that what your camera produces, too. Are there any other differences of which you know.

I absolutely love that first shot. WOW.

I am strongly considering having my old D50 converted.

The easiest (and best) way to do this is to get an older camera converted. I have a Canon 10D and 30D sitting around, one of them may get sent off for conversion this year.
