We can hardly believe that it is so close!! These boards have been a great learning tool. Especially when I found out Saturday (after joining the Disney Club Friday for ticket discounts) that not only did the ticket prices go up, but there is no more DC discount at the gates......We still plan on purchasing the tickets at the gate since we are going to do UHP and dropping the last day to relax from seven day Disney experience. It is only a small difference + DC membership fee from 8 day over phone and 7 day at resort.....hope we are doing the right thing. I called to cancel my DC membership, they say I just have to mail the card back within 90 days. Any advice?

Just a few more last minute questions......

We will be there 9/28 - 10/5 (some extended hours....yeah) I have been reading about the light crowds the past couple of weeks.....does this week seem to follow that?

I have been spending a fortune buying "stuff" for our trip! We are staying at the All-Star Sports. Do they have any shampoo, soap, conditioner....etc. or is that something we have to bring.

Any other last minute advice would be wonderful! Thanks!:sunny:

we are going to be there at the same time (and at the same resort). Wear lime green, hopefully we will run into each other. I know that you are going to have a great time. To see everything for the first time will be spectacular! Have a great trip! I can't wait either!

They do provide soap and shampoo (not conditioner) but i always bring my own shampoo and conditioner. My hair looks like hay when I use there stuff!

Ditto on bringing your own shampoo. The stuff at the All Stars is nasty.

You will need to buy your UPHs at the resort; when you check in, tell them what you want - they put them on the same card as your room key, so you only need one card the whole time you're there.

Crowds usually pick up a bit in October (it's no longer considered value season), so the crowds will probably increase over the course of your trip. But they'll still be light to moderate, so don't fret.

Relax, take your time, and just enjoy being there!:D

We leave WDW the day you arrive. I hope the crowds remain low for us both!

You are going to have an amazing time.

I just sent back my DC card with a little note requesting a refund. I had planned on buying APs in Orlando with my DC disount since there is no Disney Store nearby. It is not worth keeping for any other discount - the AP gives you a greater discount most of the time.

tjkatie, we'll be there the same time, too!! We're actually checking into AsMu on Saturday night then moving on to BCV on Sunday for the week. Probably will see you at MK on Monday night. You're going to be amazed!! Be sure to post a trip report when you get back.
