Would anyone like to share their favorite photography book titles/recommendations?
I have a basic knowledge of film camera use but just learning digital.

I'm just slightly confused by your request. Are you looking for a book on digitial photography, general photography, camera specific, etc. The basics between film and digital are about the same, shutter speed, ISO/ASA, aperture. If you are looking for basic photography that pulls it all together, then I would recommend Understanding Exposure by Bryan Peterson. Camera specific I would recommend the Magic Lantern series for your camera. They also have a video series. For beginning digital, then maybe one of the Dummies books.

A few of my favorite ones for learning were:

The Digital Photography Book (Volumes 1,2 &3), Scott Kelby
Understanding Exposure, Bryan Peterson
Photos with Impact, Tom Mackie
The Photographer's Eye, Michael Freeman

Thanks.
Amazon had great reviews for the above mentioned books so I placed an order for those along with one by Bushnell for my specific camera model.

Understanding Exposure is the photography primer it seems. It's always on the recommended reading list for this subject.
