.... how to post a 'quote'.
You know how all you clever folk keep selecting part of a previous post which you are responding to then write the reply underneath? Just how do you do that?
Waiting to be enlightened! ;)

all you need to do is open the thread you want to quote and highlight the http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=262421 in the address bar, right click and select copy and then goto your reply and right click and paste
you can also do it by clicking on the "http://" button in the vB Code section just above the reply box
doing it that way allows you to have "Click here" as the text in the reply that people read but when you click on it it opens the webpage
like this
Virgin Flight status (http://www.virgin-atlantic.com/home_flight_status.view.do?flash=true)

Although neilybealy's reply is very helpful ;), I'm not sure it answers Mazzy's question! I think Mazzy wanted to know how to do this:

To paste a quote in your reply, go to the 'reply to post' box, scroll down to the previous post which you want to quote and highlight it. Right click the highlighted text and 'copy'. Then scroll back up to the line of icons above the reply box and click on 'Quote'. That will open a smaller text box where you can paste your copied text. Click okay and it should magically appear in your reply box!
Hope that helps!

You can also just click on the "quote" button (next to the edit button) instead of the regular 'reply' button on the bottom of the relevant persons post and that will automatically include the whole persons quote, plus assigns the posters name to the quote as well...like this :)
