Soo we are going to WDW in March 2011 just my DH and I. And I have already started planning our 2012 Disney cruise trip, LOL! We want to go in March 2012 for our DD 2nd birthday, my parents will be sharing with us this special time.

Is the cruise "do-able" with a 2 year old? Opinions, info, tips.....

I think I am more excited about our 2012 trip than our 2011 one:rotfl:

If having 2 cruises booked makes you crazy, I guess I'm hopeless. I think we have the next 5 booked!

Definitely 'doable' with a 2 year old. Our youngest was 26 months this past August. There is a ton to do. Biggest challenge is dinner. Get early seating. Be prepared to entertain them. We went with colouring books and an ipod touch loaded with her fav shows. Dinner can take up to 2 hours. But it is a fast 2 hours if that makes sense.

Don't worry about being crazy. We have another 4 night booked for next August. We are booking the 8 night New Year's cruise in 2011/2012 over the next few days. Now if I can only get a fix before August.

My husband thinks that I am nuts too! I think that these forums just add to my crazy! We just have one cruise booked so far (our first). It is this coming May for DS's 5th birthday. I am so excited! I had custom luggage tags made and I am constantly doing more reading about all things Disney Cruise.

I am jealous that you and your DH get to go together alone! What a great vacation. Also, I can't think of a better place to bring DD for her 2nd birthday. Have fun!:thumbsup2

I agree! We have 4 booked. Why wait, then pay more? :confused3

OP, you're not crazy at all. There are plenty of children same age as yours. I didn't start cruising until my youngest was 4 but not intentionally.

A lot of Dis-ers with children of napping age state that it's much easier if they have a balcony, not a must have, but gives the parent something to do besides tip toe around the room while the baby sleeps.

My parents cruise with us almost every time. So nice for kids and grandparents to make memories together. :goodvibes

Have fun planning!
