OK, I finally got round to posting the full low-down on the new Rhino Rally ride at Busch Gardens. I had to post it in three takes because it was so long ( :eek: ) but there is a fair bit of info, too, about Busch Gardens itself.

Simon, any height weight restrictions? Sorry - I skimmed your post but didn't see that. No time to read in detail - spent most of lunch hour reading DixieAmos' uniquely interesting posts.

There is a Tampa DIS meet in the upcoming weeks, where we will be meeting at Busch Gardens and hopefully going on Rhino Rally. We'll get back to ya on it!

Right, I have finally been able to get some up-to-the-minute info from Busch about RR, and it seems it will not quite be ready for the 'official' opening on May 11. They are still looking at about two weeks from this point (May 4), but ARE planning on being in a soft opening phase from around about May 11 (sorry to be a bit vague, but they have still got a few things to iron out, by the sound of things).

As for height restrictions - that's a good question, and there is no answer yet! They are still looking at all the safety implications of the ride and are not sure whether there will be an age or a height restriction (there will be one or the other, though). Expect the cut-off to be around 4-year-old age, though.
