Photopass questions

I'm sorry if this isn't the right place. I wasn't sure where to ask this. We pre-ordered the photoCD before our trip, but now i'm wondering when to order the CD. Should i upload my personal photos to my account and then order or does the CD only contain the photopass pics? Also, once I've ordered the CD will I also get digital copies of the pics right away or will it take until the CD gets here. TIA!

Don't order too quickly. You get lots of options for adding embellishments to your pictures, and it doesn't cost extra to make several versions of each picture. On piece of advice on the embellishments though - it helps if you have an idea ahead of time what size print you're planning on. Notice that you can save a 4x6, 5x7, or 8x10 version of each pic. If it's cropped for 8x10, it won't work right for a 4x6 print - part of the embellishment gets cropped out. I always take a few of the best shots and save in all three formats, then start making copies with embellishments from there. You end up with a LOT of pictures that way, but you get the maximum flexibility when you get around to actually making the prints. If you're not going to add embellishments, though, all of the above is pretty much moot.

The CD will only contain the photopass pics. You won't have a digital copy of the pics until you get the CD. Once you order the CD, you will get it pretty quickly.

We did photopass last year. The regular CD only included the pictures taken from their photographer of us. I needed to order a different CD for my personal pictures that I uploaded and put their characters on.

We didn't get the digital copy with ours just the files on the CD.
