D7000 Memory Cards - Which Ones?

I am looking at getting the D7000 for my wife for Christmas and I want to get the memeory cards as well. The ones we have are only 2GB and wouldn't hold a lot shooting in RAW mode. However, I don;t want to break the bank on these either, so I am wondering what brands and sizes are people using.

I use 32 GB class 10.

Kingston 8GB Class 6 and Class 4.

Kingston is my brand of choice. I would say that you need a minimum of Class 6 if you want to do any video.

FWIW, I had no problems shooting both 720P 30 FPS video and 1080P 24 FPS video on a Kingston Class 4.

OK, I am a little confused, what does the class mean?

OK, I figured out what the class means. Now if I read correctly, in RAW mode at the highest setting, I can get about 800+ images on a 32 GB card, is that right?
