Hi, I was thinking of getting my two kids GameBoy Colour units for our trip. In Ontario Canada I'd pay $114/unit with tax for the unit, no games included.

What is the price in the US? Maybe I should get them in Buffalo on the way down - or in Florida even.

The old version game boy color is $69.99. Not sure of the price for the new game boy

Oh, sorry, I didn't know there was a NEW version of Game Boy color. I'm surprised my kids haven't asked for it yet!

I paid $59.99 for my sons. The games run anywhere between $19.99 - $49.99. Just depends on what games they want.

The new one is Gameboy Advanced. It comes out mid June, the 13th I think. The suggested retail is $99.99. It will play all previous Gameboy games as well as new games designed specifcally for Advanced.

it is supposed to be much better and for only $30.00 more each probably worth the extra bucks.

We've decided to wait for the new ones. The kids will have to survive the trip with the old non-colour units. This way, they'll be able to play ALL the games for a couple years at least. Guess it will be an end-of-school year gift instead.
