I am still looking for a small camcorder and can't make up my mind. We have countless hours of footage of Disney and I don't want to take my regular recorder because it gets heavy in the parks. I thought about not taking one but you never know when something special might happen. Does anyone have a Kodak Mini? Do you like it? It is on sale for $59.00 and thought it might be worth buying for a just in case moment.

I looked it up on Amazon and most have said that the quality is just so so. Guessing its as good as a cell phone.

Here is the ratings scale so far.

Can't say anything about the one you're looking at. I have the Flip Mino HD and I really like it. I actually use it more than my full scale, more expensive Canon Vixia HD camcorder. The Flip is just so darn convenient. It will record for 2 hours before you have to download your videos. The HD playback is good quality and the audio is pretty good as well. While I use iMovie to download my footage, I understand that Flip's software is super easy to use with direct uploads to Facebook etc. The one thing I don't like is the zoom, it's not really worth anything but for catching those moments that I might not have gotten otherwise, it's fine. I'm really more of a photos person anyway. I'd also recommend getting the external charger with this one to avoid having to charge it on your computer. A small device like this is fun to have.
