OK its actually Dave signed in as my DW...too lazy to log out and back in again, the computer is on the fritz.

We lucked out and got a Concierge room at AKL (WOOHOO!!). Our first trip we stayed at the Poly and tipped $5 a day for mousekeeping ($1/day/person) and $1/bag for the baggage handlers. Who else should I be concerned with at the concierge level? Should I pay the valet service more?

I do pay more for exceptional service and am not worried about tipping too much, just too little.

Thanks,

Dave....not the DW

You aren't tipping too little.

If you haven't stayed at AKL before, the self parking is convenient. We never felt the need to use valet there.:D

Hi there,

We are staying concierge in May. What rate did you get? I'm dying for the AP rates or codes to come out. Can't wait

Hi lizzie64,

I'm DH of DWofjdads2...that makes me jdads2, anyway, you aren't likely to get the same rate that we got we were offered an upsell on an already very good Savannah view room rate. We are paying $150/night/room for the concierge rooms.

Heres the post about the story:
