My dh and I will be celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary at WDW at the end of Sept. and just wondered what you'd recommend for a special anniversary meal. Our favorite restaurant is California Grill, but we've been there a few times already and I think it might be nice to try something else. Other places I've tried and liked pretty well are Flying Fish and Artist's Point. Although I've heard great things about V&A's, I just don't feel like paying the $$ for it at this point. Have any of you been to Citricos recently? Is that any good? Didn't look too romantic to me when I saw it a few years ago. How is Narcoosee's? Any recommendations for other places you've thought were special would be much appreciated!
Other than the special anniversary meal, I was thinking of trying the following places:
Le Cellier (either for L or D)
Hollywood Brown Derby (was thinking of doing FDP, but not so sure now!!)
San Angel Inn (L)
Portobello YC (L or D)
Any other places I should consider? My dh likes meat and fish entrees mostly and I like pasta and fish/chicken entrees, FYI.
Thanks for the help,
Sarah

We ate at Citrico's a couple of weeks ago and were very pleased. The tables are spaced fairly far apart, so you can have an intimate conversation without being overheard. We found it more romantic than the CG. The service was spectacular :)
You might want to consider Jiko, which has fabulous food and a wonderful atmosphere.

Thanks for your post, Anne -- it was nice to hear from someone!!
I'm really curious to hear people's opinions of Narcoosee's, since that's now the place I'm most seriously considering for our special anniversary dinner... Any feedback would be much appreciated!!!
Thanks,
Sarah

We went one year to Palio's (it is either at the Dolphin or the Swan) and it was wonderful- a little pricey but it was very romantic.

We went to Narcoosees in April for the first time and loved it, we wondered why we had waited so long. The meal was outstanding, and the wine was reasonably priced for a bottle of good tasting wine. The butternut squash and crab soup was out of this world, great pork tenderloin, and key lime creme brulee.
We also have been to Artist Point, and in fact are going back for our 6th anniversary in December. We went for our 2nd and loved it, but there are too many great places to try!

I love Artist Point and Flying Fish, too.
I have also been to Narcoossee's and loved that restaurant, too. I would recommend it for a special meal. Because of the size/shape of the building, it can be loud. Loud, but not a roar! We both had wonderful seafood dishes. We ordered wine by the glass (we like different wines, so we didn't order a bottle that night). They poured the wine at the table, which was a nice touch, so we were able to see what they were pouring. We were very surprised to find that even though we each had 2-3 glasses of wine, they only charged us for one glass apiece! I'm sure that was a once in a lifetime occurance! ;) We had a wonderful view of the Electrical Water Parade during our meal, too! That was a very nice plus!
Whatever you decide, Enjoy!!!!!!!
