I have PSE 5. Wondering if I'm going to have to upgrade once the new toy is here.
Can't seem to find a link from Adobe for this.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Adobe, like most companies, phase out support for older versions of its software. PSE is now on version 9. That means PSE5 isn't likely to get the latest version of Camera Raw with support for D7000 RAW files. However, Adobe does have a stand-alone DNG converter that will convert the D7000's .nef RAW format into the .dng RAW format (without quality loss yet smaller file size), which PSE5 should be able to read. You can download the free DNG Converter on Adobe's site.

Probably so- I finally had to make the jump from CS3 to CS5 when I got mine.

Will check into the DNG converter. In the meantime, I can probably use Capture NX.
