Lightroom 3 Still on Sale!!!!!!

Newegg has Lightroom 3 for sale at 179.99 through today!

There are lots of incremental improvements, but if you have LR2 and don't use it, I don't think you'll use LR3 anymore. It doesn't really do anything new, it just does existing things better.

Pretty much my thoughts as well.

actually Newegg had it on sale for 129.00 on Black Friday. :)

Dang I wish I had seen that- for that price I may have been tempted anyway.

Gdad, you can just get the educational version for $90 or so with your kid's names. I've seen them holding cameras; it's legit. :thumbsup2

IMHO LR3 is well worth the upgrade. The noise reduction features are much improved and the new processing engine is nice.

I was ready to jump ship to Bibble 5 after LR2.. then I got the trial for LR3. There are some pretty big improvements that make it worth the upgrade, IMO. But I wouldn't pay more than $100 for it.

Are they getting ready to release LR4 any time soon? Seems like the only time I see Adobe discount their stuff is when a new version is around the corner.
