Looks a lot different than in the late fall. I was there last week with oldest DS' field trip. A lot less greenery of course. lol

Great pictures! I've never been to Massachusetts, or anywhere in New England even, but when I do make it up there, Plimoth Plantation is one place I want to visit.

I could post pics of St Augustine, FL where the real first European Thanksgiving was held... :)

Thanks for sharing those. I'd like to get up that way someday. I love history.

Nice pictures! I haven't been there since a second grade field trip. Your pictures make me want to see it again :)

Very nice, Dave! Just the right touch for Thanksgiving. What lens did you use for those interiors? You are still the king of the D80!

Very nice, Dave! Just the right touch for Thanksgiving. What lens did you use for those interiors? You are still the king of the D80!

I used my Tamron for all the shots. It's on the body nearly 90% of the time. I just love that lens!

How could you not go!! We had a great time and would go back if wasn't so far from where we live.

We also enjoyed your town of Plymouth as well. A really nice area. :thumbsup2

I grew up the next town over from Plymouth and while I have been in Plymouth many many many times and been around the Mayflower II and Plymouth Rock dozens of times, the last time I went to Plimouth Plantation before 2 weeks ago was in the late 70's.

PS I have some from the America's Hometown Thanksgiving Day Parade in Plymouth but I'm still working on them. I may post a thread if I can get them done sometime soon.
