I have RSVPed for CP for 12-23 for 2. I need it for 3, I tried online no available. (So I took party of 2 RSVP avail). Will they allow a 3rd at the table, will they send us away? Should I call and ask ahead of time? ..if it matters 3rd is 5 yrs old.

TY!

Personally, I think you would have better luck booking 4 instead of 2. I've heard TA say it's better to overbook a party than underbook. If your reservation is for 4 and only 3 show up, you just have an extra chair. If you bookd for 2 and show up with 3, the restaurant is now looking for a spot for an extra diner. You may be fine, but I would say don't be disappointed if they can't take you. Especially for your dining date. Good Luck :)

You will be told there is no availability or a long wait. You are now seated at a two-top and you will need a four-top for three people. Three people cannot sit comfortably at a two top and will block the aisleways.

You can call and ask if there is availability for a ressie for 3, but that close to Christmas, it is going to be impossible I would imagine.

1) You need to keep trying for the ressie change.
2) CRT is pretty well booked and they manage the tables well.
3) You are probably at a table-for-two (called a "deuce").
. . . they do have tables for three (sometimes call a "trip")
. . . but, they are frequently booked by the smaller families
. . . that is why no availability shows for three people
4) Since the other tables are reserved, one of you could be turned away.
5) Very embarrassing.

Yes, try for 4 as a back up. Going from 2 to 3 requires a bigger table which is more likely to be problematic.

I would keep trying. The time you are shooting for will be pretty much a no go with adding one on at the podium....no matter what the age.

Be prepared for one of the adults to be turned away.

CP is a hot ticket and is hard to add on even without the free dining, the time of year...etc.

Yep keep trying, check the cancelation thread to see if someone posts your date.
