View Full Version : Which restaurant should I pick?

I'm trying to decide on which restaurant to pick. It will just be my DH and I on this trip. We are planning on staying in the MK park until the end of "Wishes" and then head right to the restaurant for a late dinner.
I'm between O'Hanas, Citricos or the California Grill. I've only eaten at O'Hanas for Breakfast, which is one of my favorites. We would like to eat at a restaurant off of the monorail since we will be staying at Bay Lake Towers.
Please help me decide. Thanks.

We love Ohana. Haven't been to the other 2.
I would advise you to look at the menus and see what appeals to you more.

Citricos and Cali Grill are signature restaurants and have (IMO) dramatically better food and service than Ohana. If you would like a meal with personal attention and like the menu, I'd strongly urge Citricos. Cali Grill is very good and has a great location, but I find it to be a more mechanical dining experience. It feels like a corporate-owned fine dining establishment that is focused on a masses approach to upscale dining. Citricos is very service-oriented and our experiences there have been very personal.
Additionally, if the weather is nice, a little post-dinner walk on the Grand Floridian grounds would be a nice endpiece to your day. You'll have lots of Contemporary time on your trip.

We've done Ohana and Cali Grill a few times and are going back to both of them this trip! (I've never been to Citricos so I can't comment on that one). Ohana is a bit more rushed, I guess because they bring out the courses family style. So we have to remind ourselves just because they're bringing things out fast, we don't have to eat that fast! Cali Grill, the food is a bit more upscale, as is the feel of the place. We feel more pampered and catered to there (and the price reflects that, too) ;). Not sure which I'd pick if I had to choose though. If money weren't an object, Cali Grill, but I'm cheap (I mean, frugal :thumbsup2), so I'd probably pick Ohana for that reason.
