What's it like? We have an ADR for 8:05, and the park opens at 9:00. What happens at the entrance gate, and is it possible that we'll be all done prior to 9:00? What happens then- won't we already be beyond the point where rope drop happens? Thanks for the info!

There's a special entrance for people with ADRs. Depending on how busy it is and how long it takes for the characters to make their way to you you could be there for up to an hour. If for some reason you finish before 9:00 you could just hang out at the entrance to whichever land you start with. They will be roped off. Having an ADR before park opening is also a great time to get pictures on main street while it's almost empty!

Did this last year for breakfast at the 8:05 ADR. Day after thanksgiving. Had our breakfast and did all the rides we wanted (basically everything but tomorrow land) by 3 pm. We finished breakfast just as they dropped the ropes so we were one of the first on some of the rides  and were able to go at a slower pace since we were ahead of others. I think you should be done around the same time as us depending on how many are in your party and how much you all eat. There was 4 of us, with 2 plates each, saw all the characters and were done by 9.

As said there is a special entrance area for ADR breakfasters. Rope drop is on the turnstyle side of the tunnels. So you will be in the park and at 9 if you are done you can stay within the hub. Each land willl have a rope blocking the diners from going further into the park, these ropes come down at 9.

As said I would watch you time closely as it can take a while for the characters to makea cycle. Also i would show up extra early to get pictures on main street and around the hub before dining.
