walk path at wilderness lodge

how far is the walkpath from the lodge to fort wilderness and back? and just where does it start? thanks! not much longer now:wave:

The walk from WL to FWC takes us about 20-25 minutes. The walkway is just beyond the bus stop.

If memory serves, it is about 3/4 mile each way - I ran it twice (back, forth, back forth) to add up to about 3 miles, seeing many of the same people several times! It starts next to the WL bus stop - head towards the left, passing in front of the WLV's and follow the signs. If you are looking for exercise, I recommend this path as opposed to the "swamp trail" along the lake, which is made of pretty soft sand that is difficult to run/walk fast upon. For a scenic walk, the swamp trail is great, though!
