Thanks for the Time Lapse link- that is something that has been on my want-to-do list for a long time.

I have lots of brief moments when I want to do time lapse interspersed with times when I don't care.

I gave it a shot this weekend-

5,000+ shots between the two cameras taken on Saturday night- ran the lot through Lightroom tonight and cropped to 1920x1080- grouped into six time lapse scenes and then put together with music in Premier Elements. It's pretty rough- I really need a some more memory and a graphics card before I try another one.

Great videos. A word of caution, though. Time lapse with a DSLR could get expensive. It's a lot of clicks to put on your shutter. Remember that camera shutters are generally design for as low as 50,000 and as high as about 500,000 clicks.
