Hello all, we are planning our first visit to WDW this October. I have read that pin trading can be a blast so we have decided to let the Little People 6, 8, and 9 give it a try. I’m not looking for the best pins out there just looking for a few inexpensive pins to trade with the CM on our trip. I was thinking maybe 3 or 4 each. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

There are inexpensive pins?? ;)
Just kidding. Welcome to the DIS Collectors Board. Some good places to find inexpensive traders are -- cheappins.com; the Disney Store pins are a little cheaper than the pins at the parks (and if you get them with the Disney Club discount, you can save even more); auction sites such as eBay or DISAuctions sometimes have lots of pins at a low average per-pin price; the Disney Character Warehouse outlet stores in Orlando and other locations in Florida have several of the Countdown to the Millennium series from the DS for sale.
A definite must do -- Scoop's pin trading seminar is held at Expo Hall in MK Sunday thru Thursday (IIRC) at 1:00 PM. Scoop is great!! And get him to tell you the story of Rindercella. :teeth: The kids will love it.
Hope this helps. :)

Any pins you purchase on eBay carry the risk of being counterfeit. It is better to buy from the Disney Store or Disney Shopping (www.disneyshopping.com) the pins are listed under "Collectibles".
The site with the pictures is PinPics. The other site where you can look is www.odpt.com to see new pins being released in the parks.
Just wanted everyone to be aware that the posts at the top of this thread are more than 5 years old and some of the info is no longer valid.:)
