Although we won't be cruising with you, we're planning a quick visit to cheer you on as you sailout of Port Canaveral that day.

Can't wait to see the beauty of the ship up close. Do you happen to know when she is arriving in Port for your trip? Is is the am hrs of the 11th or the day prior on Jan 10?

We'll be there either way.

I have heard on the boards that she is to arrive at the port on Jan 4th but don't quote me. I have seen that date a couple of times. Hope you have a great time!:yay:

We're driving down Jan 9th from NJ to drop our son off for the College Program. We have a May sail date on the Dream but are dying to see the ship in person in Jan if at all possible.

Thanks to Sideshow Bob, I know she'll be in port the morning of the 11th so we'll probably dine at Grills and wave him on as the ship departs.

Can't wait.

The Dream will be at PC on 1/4/11. 1st "Media" cruise is 1/7-10, 2nd 1/11-14, 3rd 1/14-17. They announced today a 2-day Dream Cruise for the of Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Florida in Pine Hills last week leaving on 1/21/11.

ME! I'm sailing on 1/7/11!! My hubby is a CM at DME. We just found out this morning he has to work on our sail day, so now we've got to figure out how to get me and our friends who are in our cabin to the airport!

Just curious...what are these cruise on 1/7 and 1/11? Who was invited? Are they trials? I was assuming there was going to be some final make ready activities between 1/4 and 1/19 on the christening.

There are 3 "Cast Member/Media" cruises. 1/7, 1/11 and 1/14. As far as we known the bulk of those onboard are Disney Cruise and Disney's Magical Express Cast Members and their families. We're basically their "test subjects", but we're saying "TEST AWAY!!!"

We've also been told there will be a production crew onboard and we might be filmed or asked to participate in photo shoots.

Good gracious I am jealous, I loved being a test dummy for Disney's stuff!! Sorry to jump in here, but I am really hoping you guys post while onboard this weekend. Come on fellow CM's, you know the Media won't be able to give us or can give us the same information as ya'll will. Besides, I know I'd trust a CM before I would the media. Anyway, I am keeping my eyes on the board and this thread to see if ya'll do...please do. ;)

Just wanted to wish you all a great cruise on the 11th....take in all the beauty of the new ship!!!

We are on the cruise the 21st and the MV and the 30th of Jan so our turn is coming but I have a question....did you guys get anything in the mail (like luggage tags) for this cruise?

We have not received anything for the Boys and Girls Cruise and was just wondering how they were handling things like luggage tags.
