JPRA Outdoor Scene = Boring?

Does anyone else agree that on JPRA the outdoor part in the begining is boring? I mean most of the dinosaurs don't move, you can visibly see all of the painted over speakers which ruins the atmosphere, plus you are always sooo bored waiting for something interesting to happen. The ride never get's good until you get inside the building.

I would have to say that It's a Small World at the Magic Kingdom brings me more enjoyment and entertainment than the outdoor portion of JPRA. I mean was Spielberg sleeping when they were developing the outside portion of the ride?

Let me know if anyone else agree's with me on this.

Yes it is dull isn't it! Still it doesn't last very long and the ride is worth it once your get indoors.
But I still wouldn't ride this more than once without FOTL.

You know, I don't find it that boring. I really like the ride. Sure it could use some additions, but all ion all, I think it's really cool. It's a nice contrast, like the movie.

"This is Jurassic Park how you would see it on normal days. Uh oh, Stupid dinosaur bumped into the boat! Where are we going? Why are we going uphill......?"

I think when you look at it that way, it makes the dark ride part more effective.

I do agree that it is rather boring - but that seems to be the intent. After all you need something to make the dark ride portion make sense. That being said, some other things to look at or experience (maybe more dinosaurs, a waterfall to go under, or some rapids to add to the excitment) would have been nice!

I agree that it's not all that exciting, but I love it! Whenever I'm on it, I just wish that part would last about an hour because it's so relaxing just cruising along, looking at the scenery.

I actually thought the whole thing was pretty boring. Maybe I need to ride it again but when I got off after the first ride I was like, That's it? After seeing all the hype when the one in Hollywood opened I was very dissapointed. :( I really expected to be scared like on Countdown to Extinction (Dinosaur).
