Our last DCL cruise was over 7 years ago for our honeymoon. I loved playing bingo on the ship, but I recall it being super expensive (and from reading other posts, sounds like it still is). What are the current costs to play?

I'm curious, too....... Is there a price per card? per game?

I can't remember the prices, but it is rather pricey.....and it goes up throughout the cruise. I have done it a few times and it is fun, but not always worth the price.

I know even after two cruises, I've missed things on the ship still (that's why I have 2 more 7 day cruises booked. :) )

Where do they do the bingo?

We were on the Wonder 10/24 and I paid $60 to play Bingo.

Having never played Bingo before, it was really strange. We got two packs of cards and a machine. The machine won us $85.

The charges are per 'card' and each card is good for all 4 rounds per Bingo event. I don't have the exact numbers in front of me and we didn't play at all on this last trip (8/23-30 on the Magic) but as I recall, prices can start around $48 for the 'traditional' punch-out cards and about $60 for the automated hand-held devices that mark the number for you.

I've never won the big prize (rats!) but on our first cruise in 2006 I did win a total of about $900 over the 11-night cruise. Aside from the cost, it can be a fun time if the bingo-calling group is into it.
:cheer2:

Check the Navigator. Daily games are generally played in Wavebands/Rockin' Bar D. At the end for the big prize, it's generally in the Walt Disney Theater.

Kids CAN play but must be with an adult 18 years or older. You have to use the adult's KTTW card to purchase bingo cards. Adults must be present throughout the game.

Lowest price last week was $30 for one set of cards which has six chances for each game. There is only four games each time they play. The costs are VERY high for your chances. The BINGO machines are more expensive from 50 to 130 depending on which one of the games you go to. You can get a Loyalty price by playing Bingo twice on the ship prior to the final game. At that final game you get a discount on what you purchase for that game.

We are done with Bingo on the Disney cruise. While we did win a Final bingo two years ago, it really is a majorly frustrating to pay so much money for only four tries. That's it, only four times. And the money is huge. On our last cruse a family won the final bingo for 7500.00. While that is nice it seems a bit excessive for one pot to be so much when they simply could add more games. To each their own, but to answer your original question: How much is Bingo...... TOO MUCH!

One other thing. I have NEVER seen a punch card win. So you might as well pay more and get one of the machines.

After reading this thread I don't want to hear another person brag about DCL not having casinos...jeesh:lmao: Basically they do. It's just one game.
