Stocked items in BCV?

Will be in a studio... Do they stock extra trash bags? Am I correct in that there will be paper goods? Paper plates, bowls, napkins, cups and plastic utensils all included or do I need to pack some of these items? Thanks! Shan :)

Extra trashbags will be in the cans, and you can get more if you need them between T&T days if you need them. You get 4 cups/plates/bowls, etc..., so you may want to pack extra.

I believe the plates, bowls, etc. are paper. However, there are real coffee mugs. :D

Mugs and glassware are washable. Utensils are plastic and plates/bowls are paper. We bought plastic Mickey Bowls from the General Store and use them on every trip for cereal (mind you, we have no kids except DH and me:D ). Sometimes we have cereal out of them at home and pretend we're on vacation!

Wow, so then there is only four sets of paper plates and bowls? That doesn't seem like a lot when you don't get service for four days. So then , pack up? :) Shan

Yes, either pack extra plates and bowls or if you're flying, make a grocery stop on the way to the resort. Have a great trip!

last year when we were in a studio, others had left extra bowls, plates, flatware, etc. So there were actually more than four sets. But you can't count on there being extras, so you may want to be prepared just in case.
I had brought paper bowls (sturdy kind) with us because some of the meals I had prepared were of the soupy type (chili) and didn't want to run into trouble with nothing to eat out of. There was a small bottle of dish detergent and a small sink which was fine for the few things we needed to wash.

PAPER???????? Really? Is that just for studios or are all the Units at BCV going paper.............

At OKW we had real plates and silverware........ we were in a 2 bedroom.... is that the difference???

The paper stuff is only in the studios. 1BRs and up still have all the cool dishes!!

All of the DVC studios are set up this way with glasses and mugs for 4 plus plastic and paper enough for 4. I think Dawn or similar is provided, if not I'm sure they can get it for you. The 1 and 2 BR units have a DW and full set up for 8 people so not to worry there.

We stayed at Marriott's Grande Vista this past March and the studios there are set up very similarly but have plates, utensils, etc. They were only set up for 2 but you could get four if you needed and we did for part of the time.
