We just received our docs and there is very little about the american express white glove package. It mentions a couple of discounts, but nothing about the on board credit or advance reservations for Palo. Does anyone know anything about it or who we could call to find out? Thanks.

I'm on the same cruise as you and we also have the White Glove Treatment. Our TA told us that we have to go to Guest Services once aboard to get the chairibag, pin, etc.

There is another thread here that talks about the Palo ressies. You just need to call DCL and talk to the Dining Room Coordinator?? I think. Good Luck!

Here is the website for the American Express Disney offers.
I have taken advantage of two of them that offer $250.00 onboard credits: Am Ex Caribbean Magic for my 9/28 cruise (7 night) and the Am Ex White Glove Parks and Ports for my 9/12 (7 night land/sea package).

I am also getting my Castaway Club $200 onboard credit - a benefit that was offered when I made the reservations months ago.

Good luck!

We had the Amex package on the 8/24 cruise. The only thing mentioned in the docs was about the discount at the store and for CC rentals. However, the chair bag and pins were in our room when we arrived as well as notice that our onboard credit had been applied. A day or two into the cruise, we received our invitation for the special photo opportunity as well as a voucher for the free 8x10 which saved us $20 by itself.

It really worked out well!

Quick question - prior to your cruise, did you receive a letter from either Disney Cruise Line or Am Ex giving you information about the Amex package (such as the number to the Dining Coordinator - Debbie for the Palo reservations)

I purchased mine weeks ago and crusie 9/28. I called DCL Castaway Club Reservation Line to reach Debbie, but never received the "information letter" from DCL or Am Ex.

Just curious as to if anyone ever did!

Thanks!
Rae

Rae, I never did receive any documents in the mail (but did print out the information from the Amex website (the link was posted on this thread). I called my travel agent who called the Dining Coordinator with my reservations for Palo and High Tea (I did not request brunch). The dining Coordinator even called the day before the cruise to confirm my selections. Not too shabby!

If you do not have a TA or the number, you can probably call the main number 1-800-WDW-Cruise and ask to be connected to the Dining Coordinator.

Good luck!

Thanks Diamond-Girls -
I think Debbie (the Dining Coordinator) is a very nice and professional gal. She returned my call within 2 hours!
I am so glad that this forum is available to us, and thank everyone (writers, sponsors, moderators, webmasters and techs) for all their help in making the cruise so perfect!~

Happy Sailing!

Thanks everyone. We called the dining coordinator and got our reservations. I think we need a new travel agent because she didn't know anything about it and wasn't helpful to us at all. Thankfully we have the DIS. Thanks again.

Two mother and daughter trips! Wow!
Lucky ladies!

I finally talked my Mom into coming along with me - our 7 night is 9/28 and I thrilled! I saw so many middle aged daughters and their Mom's travelling together last time that I was envious - how I'll be the envied one! And so will you whatever the ages you are!

Happy Sailing!
