Just back from 10 days in Ukraine and France.
Here is a photo of Chateaux Bon Repos against the French countryside.

You mean people actually vacation somewhere OTHER than Disney????? :lmao:
Lovely shot. I'd love to see that area in person someday.

Hopefully will be going to Paris in the spring to visit DD again. I am quite sure I will be missing her SOOO much that I will have to go see her;)

Watch out My2Girls66 - that's how it starts - "I'm going to study abroad for a semester"....
We went over not only for some vacation, but also to help our oldest friends celebrate their daughter's Master's graduation in Paris. She went over "for a semester". Then went back for a Master's (2 years), and now she's working on a Doctorate! (expected to take ~ 3 years). Oh and she has a Parisian Fiancee' as well...
I figure we'll be back for a graduation, wedding, something...:rotfl:

Any excuse will do:) The 1st part of our trip was Ukraine and it was for a wedding.
DD has been in Grenoble since Sept 1. When we saw her last week she asked if we minded if she stayed over Christmas break rather than flying home and then going back. She already doesn't want to come home! She has braces that need some tending too otherwise we probably would have let her. As much as I miss her, it is an awfully good experience.
Oh and Mont St Michel and Giverny are on my list of must sees in France:thumbsup2

Does she plan on staying there to live? That is a fear of mine. Nice place to live but an awfully long commute for mom!
