Hi! This cruise will be the 2nd part of our back to back cruise. DH & I will be celebrating our 25th anniversary during this cruise. DS (14 at time of sailing) will be joining us. We are very excited about back to backs, have talked about it often, and will finally take the plunge.
It's a long time before we sail but I look forward to meeting fellow cruisers.

We too will be on this cruise! At this time there is 16 one us travelling on this cruise. 2 of us, myself included will be celebrating our 30th birthday!
We are holidaying on the Magic again in a couple of weeks around the med so not long to our next Disney fix.

We can't wait to hit the AquaDuck and enjoy this huge ship. We went on a four day trip on the Wonder, and decided to go seven days on a larger boat. I'm envious of you with the back to backs.

Can anyone tell us how we get into the door decorations trade thingies we keep seeing on staterooms? It's like there is a secret club that I desperately want to join :banana:

DH (Rob,) DD (Rachel) and I (Priscilla) just returned today off the 5-day Dream (double-dip at CC!):banana:

We had a great time, but thought the cruise was WAY too short, and rebooked this week. Two other DISers and their families booked as well (will tell them about this thread.)

The Dream was FABULOUS and I know that the Fantasy will be even better because it's a 7-day!

Count us in on this cruise. We made our reservation back in February and this will be our 4th cruise (our last was back in 2008).

We'll be going to Hilton Head for three nights when we come back to port, then stay at WDW for a few days before heading back home.

When DCL offered reduced price guarantee rooms last month, I rebooked and upgraded to a balcony and had to pay in full at that time. I lost my $250 OBC but still saved about $800 overall. In three more days I will be able to start booking my ressies! :banana:

I hope this thread will get more active. We have less than 3 months to go. Are any of you planning on visiting any of the parks before or after the cruise? We will be doing Disney before and Universal after.

Happy Easter, DISers!

Just had my sister here with us for a few days of spring break. She and her DH are cruising with us this summer as their FIRST Disney cruise! It was fun going through all of our photo albums (My DH and I will be on our 12th Disney Cruise on the Fantasy:rolleyes1) and helping her put together a pirate night outfit. pirate: SO much fun 'sharing the magic'!

DH and I were more than a bit frustrated, however, that new DCL policy would not allow us to book excursions for our party of four....only for ourselves. Seems like this penalizes us back to first time cruiser status for bringing new cruisers on with us. Anyone else find this a bit backwards? I would think they would ENCOURAGE us to bring new cruisers in...... :confused3

ANYWAY....anyone else planning to do the Castaway 5K with me??? My DH just found a thread that shows they now have medals and bib numbers and everything! SO excited! :yay:

Anybody out there?????? We are getting closer and closer!! :lovestruc

Penny, we don't plan to run the 5K, but we sure look forward to swimming and the beautiful Island at Castaway. We enjoy that barbeque, too. My daughter, Melissa does plan to workout on the cruise, though. She's looking forward to the exercise equipment overlooking the ocean. :)

Howdy.

So this paycheck (Friday NOC, cutting it EXTREMELY close, I know. Stupid being a nursing student and having too much pride so I'm paying for my school...) pays off the cruise. Yay! This is my first Disney Cruise. It's also my first real vacation that I paid for all by myself that isn't camping or crashing on someone's couch (I'm 31. I know it's kinda' lame, but late bloomer.). I'm graduating from nursing school in :::counts days in head::: 45 days, and I figure this is a darn perfect gift for myself. I'm taking my dad, because literally he has pushed me through school. So the goal is relaxation and to treat him. So if you see any decoration on the door of a cabin that mentions nursing school grad, trauma, ER, decon, awesome... that's our room.

There is a thread about the room assignments. It looks like most get their room numbers at about 12 days before the cruise and most are getting some nice upgrades! :banana:
