Okay, you guys have hooked me. I guess I'm officaly nuts.

Why? Because I'm sitting here in my bedroom on the computer watching it rain at Port Canaveral.

Looks rather dreary! BUT, we just spent a weeks and a half vacation at the NJ and DE shoreline and did not have even ONE decent day the entire time. With that said -- I still had a great time. A bad weather day on vacation is still better than a beautiful clear day at home!

do you live HERE in Cape Canaveral or just watching the lousy weather on cam ?- I came home from work totally drenched - in fact both my little 4 legs girl and I looked like we had been abandoned out at sea and swimming toward shore for day - anyhow it will pass over as usual - Edwardo is doing his duty in slamming us with rain and wind BUT it will get better.

Nope, I'm up in warm an sunny (today anyway) Illinois watching the PortCam.

The raindrops dried off of the camera lens, so I knew that it had stopped, and then with one refresh it looked like a *major* down pour. The camera view changed though and I'm not sure what I'm looking at anymore.

My hubby is threatening to turn off my internet access!! I've been on this board so much the past two days. :p

I know how you feel. I live in Daytona Beach and just walked in the door before it started to downpour. Hopefully Eduardo speeds up so it hurries up and passes through. It will be a fun day tomorrow!!

Welcome from 1 Naperville DisBoard addict to another! We stayed at the Wilderness Lodge last year! It was spectacular! You are going to have a great time!

This year we are going on the 7 day Western Cruise (Nov 9) w/DD6 & DD4. I am on these boards every day trying to find new ideas for the family.

Do you have kids? If so, a quick weekend getway to the Dells at the Wilderness Resort (not disney related) may help pass the time until your real vacation.

Hey you guys aren't playing fair. I just got back to work from an extended long weekend and I see this. Of course this morning webcam not only shows the port, but it shows the Magic dock there. This makes the next 5 months seem like an eternity.

Yes, we've got 3 kids (ages 3, 8 & 9), and we do the Dells thing every now and again too. Grandma aslo takes the kids to Disney on a rotation basis. Our November Trip will me my 3 year old Katie's 1st trip to WDW! Whoo hoo! Since Kate is quite a handful I lucked out and get to go with to help my mom wrangle her.
