Oh, congratulations!! Just today we started the info. process on an international adoption. Our 9yo ds desperately wants a brother, and we felt that adopting an older waiting child might be the way to go. So I'm very excited to have read your post -- kind of like a sign or something!! ;)

I hope that the adoption procedure goes smoothly. It sounds as if this little guy has gone through a lot in his short life.

Yaseurn,

Congratualations!!! It is so wonderful to hear a happy ending to this story. There are so many people wanting children and so many of them want young babies. It is so nice to hear this 6yo boy found a great home and many years' memory with your family at WDW. What a magical ending :)

This is truly wonderful. It is the true "magic" that makes life so wonderful. My wife and I have recently been discussing adoption. It is always heartwarming to hear a child is going into a loving environment!

I will never forget the first time we brought our kids to Disney. They arrived home from Russia in April, and we went to Disney the first week of December. It was absolutely magical. Watching the delight on their faces is a memory I will always have.

MVMCP was a huge hit. The bubbles on main street, hot cocoa and cookie and the best of the best - the REAL santa!!

Swimming was one of their favorite activiites. Meeting the characters was so much fun. Deciding what and when to fill up their refillable mugs was a HUGE deal and so exciting. They has never been able to make their own decisions before. Seeing the wonderment and enjoying first time experiences thru the eyes of a child, makes you feel like a child again also.

You didn't mention how long Sasha has been in the US, but I will bet he will have the time of his life and this trip will surpass everything he has experienced before. What a wonderful welcome into your family!

If your daughter has been there before, she will have so much fun showing Sasha "the ropes".

Congrats again!
