What is a $99 cruise? Will I get a chance to get one of this or was it a deal that has long passed?

Hey Larry!
The $99 cruise was from an offer last year. If you took a 4 or 7 day cruise in January '02 you were able to purchase a cruise this fall for $99 p/p. This is for a 3 day. Pretty good deal, huh? We both missed the boat;) on this one!

This was probably a once in a lifetime deal. After 9/11 and the drop of tourism Disney dropped the prices of their cruises for Jan. when that didn't help they offered the $99 coupon for anyone sailing in the 4 or 7 day in Jan. There were blackout dates and some restrictions but our family can't go to Myrtle Beach for a long weekend for $99/person.
We had booked our cruise in May 01 for Jan 02 so this was a huge bonus for us. We are taking advantage of the $99 deal in about 5 weeks!

Another great thing about it...you were guaranteed the same/similar category. We're doing our $99 in October in a category 4.

We were originally booked for a 4 day cruise in June 2002. I read about the $99-3 day cruise if you sailed in January, I called the same day to make reservations. I got an awesome deal and we were able to do a 4 day cruise, and will be doing our $99 3-day cruise in October for 1/2 of what we were originally booked for in June.

We backed our $99 3 day cruise up to a 4 day cruise and will have a full week for a VERY reasonable price. Less than a month away!
